This weekend on Saturday we are leaving for the Dells to celebrate Luke's birthday there, he is not exactly into parties! So last night I made Luke's cake because Brad and I have a banquet tonight and we are leaving right after Jack's game on Saturday. Luke told me what he wanted, a mountain with the track and Thomas going over a bridge. Great, I thought this will be easy BUT I got some "healthier" frosting at the store thinking it would be better for the kids to frost the cake with. Not even an hour after frosting it I came up and saw the frosting starting to slide a little down. I hoped for the best and went to bed. This is what it looked like this morning! Whoa, what is this stuff made of?
The trees can't even stay on the cake, the bridge fell and the fish is going fast! How horrifying for Luke if Thomas tumbled off the mountain right in front of him! I think for the first time since Jack was two we will be buying a cake from the store for a birthday! Live and learn, don't use the healthy no trans fat frosting when you are making a cake! Sorry Lukey! Miss Bekah just told me she thinks they have Thomas cupcakes at Sam's club!
