Christmas sledding

Thank goodness this year it snowed enough for the formation of our Christmas sledding hill (our 2nd year running) so after presents all the kids ran out to try it out.

Selah's one try, she was brave enough with Ainsley.

Luke won the fastest, longest run, this  boy is fearless.  They even made it down the back hill this year and Jays added some jumps!

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Christmas Puzzle

This year during Christmas things seem a little more chaotic compared to last year where we were sitting by the fire reading Christmas books sunggled up with a newborn.  I had taken care of all of the busy stuff before Tucker was born!  This year we have our terror from tinytown creating disasters wherever he goes!  So when I saw this puzzle at Costco I thought it would be a great slow down (off the floor) activity for our family. I have heard about the idea of leaving a puzzle out during the Christmas season for everyone to randomly gather around and work on.  I like this new tradition!

What it will look like, hopefully by Christmas.
We had hot cocoa after going outside yesterday.  Today is our first real snow, hurray!  I'm sure they will be out soon, Brad is getting them new sleds right now and hopefully enough falls to use them.

Jackson's Blog

I should just let Jackson take over this blog since I have not had the time to post but I ended up helping him make his own after he has been asking to have one forever.  Here it is http://jacksonspictures.blogspot.com/

Happy Birthday Tucker

Today is our baby's 1st birthday!  Because Tucker's most common word by far is "ball" (much like Jack's was) we knew he would love a hoop for his birthday (Jack and Luke destroyed the last one)  so this was what his morning was spent doing.

Then in the afternoon we went letterboxing which is like a scavenger hunt at different places people have hidden a box and posted clues to get there.  We found two of the four we were looking for.  Daddy had the day off for Tucker's big day.  It was a beautiful day for a hike!
They all actually climbed up this tree, next year Tuck.
After supper we had cupcakes and he was super excited that we were all singing to him.

Look at that sweet face!  We love you birthday boy!  He is now out for the night after a very big day.

Selah's 5th Birthday

Today is Selah's 5th birthday.  I am so thankful for her, who she is and that she is a girly girl with 3 brothers!  We went to a tea party at Miss Spencer's Special Teas with her Grandma's, Aunt Lele, and cousins yesterday and it was such a fun time.  She really loved it, dressing up, the beautiful atmosphere, and Miss Spenser who taught us about teatime and manners!

                                                             It was all so pretty!

                                                              The food was yummy!

                                                               Miss Spencer and Selah
                                                            Grandma and the girls.
Surrounded by the ladies who love her!
Then home to meet up with the boys who had been hunting (yes even Tucker) for cake and presents.
This morning we gave her our present, now she can carry around Monnie like I carry Tucker!  Wow, five years has flown by!

The 49's Win!

Last weekend Jack's team had it's championships and won!  What a way to end the season, they did a great job this year. He is number 18 in the pictures.
                                                                               Celebrating!

                                                                   Admiring their tophies.

                                                                     Even water on the coach!

It was a great season, they were fun to watch and Jack had an awesome time.  Great job 49's!

Luke's 7th Birthday

Happy Birthday Luke!  You have counted down to your birthday for months!  Still a train fan, but moving onto the big boys, the Iron King!

Not quite bigger than Daddy yet.

He chose his cake months ago also and had a very big part in making it.

Luke's party was at the water park here in town, Luke still loves to swim , he is under the water more than above it.

Tucker and Jack on the pirate ship.
 The crew.
 Selah and Ainsley doing cheerleading!

 The girls and their smoothies!
 Tucker loves smoothies apparently!

On Saturday he had a big game so after checkout we headed to the field.
Happy Birthday Luke, we love you!
