Snowed in for Christmas
For Christmas this year because of the big storm my whole family stayed over night Christmas Eve so we could be sure to be together. We had a great time, not only with presents and playing but Uncle Jays built a sledding hill/ramp with turns and everything for the kids outside. I didn't get any pictures not because I was inside with Tucker but because I went out too and can personally say it was way fun.. and fast! Brad did get video and I'll try to get him to download it so I can post it on the blog. We were hoping to get some footage for America's funniest videos and pay for one of the kid's college.
This first picture is so funny because Brad set the timer and then ran all the way through the living room and up the stairs to make it before time ran out, it only took two tries and that's because he slipped the first time! It's also why Levi and Jude are looking back to see if he made it.
I'm not super crazy about this family picture but had to post it to see if anyone would catch my Elaine Bennet moment (although a little less revealing)..... nice. Jack and Luke also have very interesting looks, a little somber for Christmas day huh Jack? And Luke may have had a little too much sugar at this point.
Mom gets them matching jammies every year, I love it. Leah and I were wondering though how all the boys will feel about pictures in these footie jammies when they are 18.

5 Weeks and Look at Those Cheeks!
Tucker is now 5 weeks old and during a quiet few minutes the other day while the big kids were outside I took some pictures of our sweet baby sleeping. I forgot how easy it is to take pictures when they are sleeping and can't get away! We are thinking he may be the biggest of our kids, look at those cheeks! I also already put a 3 month outfit on him and it fit.
Things are going well although he does already have a cold he has been fighting for over a week now poor buddy, hopefully he kicks it soon and then stays healthy! I think I am going to be a lot more cautious from now on. Please pray it doesn't get worse!

Homecoming and first few weeks at home
Wow, Time flies with four kids and a newborn! We are doing really well, and have only left the house so far for Dr. appts and Jude's birthday. I am very thankful to my Mom, Dad, and Leah for driving the older kids around for activities so Tucker and I can stay home! I love this newborn stage, and as much as I want some sleep I don't want it to end, his squirms, rooting, and reflexes, it is so much fun having him finally here. The kids are really good with him and helpful, especially Jack! He will hold him whenever I need him to and does a great job.
Big sister on homecoming day! She was SO excited and came running out to the garage when we got home! They all made us a welcome home banner with Grandma Lois which I loved.
Luke loves baby Tucker, he thinks he is hilarious when Tucker is looking at him and how often he poops!
Jack really is helpful and already Tucker loves hearing his voice.
Thanks Mom for taking such good care of my kids while I was away from them in the hospital! They had a great time and I knew they were being cared for well!

Happy Birthday Selah
Selah's birthday was on Sunday and Saturday we had her party at the gym where she takes gymnastics, although she did still want a princess cake.
She had a really fun time doing all of the things she does at class with her friends.
She has her jumps down! Look at Jude in the back crawling up to the trampoline, he wanted to do it all.
All the kids lined up waiting to do the vault.
A fun part of the party is where everyone sang to her while swinging her and then threw her into the foam pit.
