Snowed in for Christmas

For Christmas this year because of the big storm my whole family stayed over night Christmas Eve so we could be sure to be together. We had a great time, not only with presents and playing but Uncle Jays built a sledding hill/ramp with turns and everything for the kids outside. I didn't get any pictures not because I was inside with Tucker but because I went out too and can personally say it was way fun.. and fast! Brad did get video and I'll try to get him to download it so I can post it on the blog. We were hoping to get some footage for America's funniest videos and pay for one of the kid's college. This first picture is so funny because Brad set the timer and then ran all the way through the living room and up the stairs to make it before time ran out, it only took two tries and that's because he slipped the first time! It's also why Levi and Jude are looking back to see if he made it.
I'm not super crazy about this family picture but had to post it to see if anyone would catch my Elaine Bennet moment (although a little less revealing)..... nice. Jack and Luke also have very interesting looks, a little somber for Christmas day huh Jack? And Luke may have had a little too much sugar at this point.
Mom gets them matching jammies every year, I love it. Leah and I were wondering though how all the boys will feel about pictures in these footie jammies when they are 18.
Our present to Dad. Was anyone wondering how I grew up to be a republican?
Mom and Dad got Ainsley a Red Rider this year, she was a little envious after Jack got his. They even wore t-shirts to emphasize not shooting her eye out!
Daddy made it home from work for Tucker's first Christmas!
I have ornaments each year with a picture of each of them by the tree, they are growing too fast!
Merry Christmas!

  1. LOL! I was not a breast feeding mom...so, it's easy to laugh at your "moment"! :) Way to be brave and share it with the world.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  2. I was a breast feeding mom and I can TOTALLY relate to your "moment"! :) Loved your pics Missy! You look like you had a great Christmas! Tucker is adorable. They grow up way TOO fast, don't they? Oh, and I am digging your parent's t-shirts (and taste in books too!)
