5 Weeks and Look at Those Cheeks!

Tucker is now 5 weeks old and during a quiet few minutes the other day while the big kids were outside I took some pictures of our sweet baby sleeping. I forgot how easy it is to take pictures when they are sleeping and can't get away! We are thinking he may be the biggest of our kids, look at those cheeks! I also already put a 3 month outfit on him and it fit. Things are going well although he does already have a cold he has been fighting for over a week now poor buddy, hopefully he kicks it soon and then stays healthy! I think I am going to be a lot more cautious from now on. Please pray it doesn't get worse!

Are we still in Minnesota?

The boys have been out building tunnels and forts in the massive amount of snow we were hit with!

Tucker really looks like Jack did in this picture! Time goes by so fast.... speaking of time going by fast I need to feed a baby again!

Homecoming and first few weeks at home

Wow, Time flies with four kids and a newborn! We are doing really well, and have only left the house so far for Dr. appts and Jude's birthday. I am very thankful to my Mom, Dad, and Leah for driving the older kids around for activities so Tucker and I can stay home! I love this newborn stage, and as much as I want some sleep I don't want it to end, his squirms, rooting, and reflexes, it is so much fun having him finally here. The kids are really good with him and helpful, especially Jack! He will hold him whenever I need him to and does a great job. Big sister on homecoming day! She was SO excited and came running out to the garage when we got home! They all made us a welcome home banner with Grandma Lois which I loved. Luke loves baby Tucker, he thinks he is hilarious when Tucker is looking at him and how often he poops! Jack really is helpful and already Tucker loves hearing his voice. Thanks Mom for taking such good care of my kids while I was away from them in the hospital! They had a great time and I knew they were being cared for well!

Tucker Rex Wilcox

We want to announce sweet baby Tucker! He was born on November 10th at 8:14 am and weighed 7 lb 15 oz 20 1/2 inches long, big boy for us! He is doing great and we are resting in the hospital until tomorrow when he gets to go meet his very excited siblings!

Happy Birthday Selah

Selah's birthday was on Sunday and Saturday we had her party at the gym where she takes gymnastics, although she did still want a princess cake. She had a really fun time doing all of the things she does at class with her friends.

She has her jumps down! Look at Jude in the back crawling up to the trampoline, he wanted to do it all.

A fun part of the party is where everyone sang to her while swinging her and then threw her into the foam pit.

Then all of her friends got to jump in and tickle her!

Jack didn't do a whole lot of gymnastics, he played in here and helped out with Jude.

This was a big jump but of course Selah was not scared!

After time in the gym we had cake, I'm glad it made it in one piece to the gym, Leah held it very carefully in the car on the way there.

Presents! Layken made this blanket for Selah and now she carries it everywhere. Selah had a really fun gymnastics/princess party!

Beggar's Night

Yesterday we went to Winterset for trick or treating with the cousins. We had Cinderella, James, and an ISU football player this year.

Ainsley was Selah's mouse, they were very cute together!

Luke decided to pose for a picture this one time at Leah's. He didn't understand why we were trick or treating on the 30th and not the 31st, or why we went to stores first and not to houses (they trick or treat around the square first). It was a tough night for him at first but he warmed up to it and went around the neighborhood after supper.

And Mickey Mouse! Jude looked so cute, Luke wasn't posing at this time and Layken was out with friends. I wish I had gotten a picture of her too, she was a nerd and looked so funny! Her and her friends even made the front page of the Des Moines register online!
