Yesterday Luke and Selah sat out in the yard in their bird "blind" to do some bird watching.
Recording what he sees.
How sweet is this? They took out a snack while they watched but "nothing crunchy like potato chips" Luke told me (it says that in the book).
Always giving Selah information.
Turkey hawk I think, there were lots of these yesterday.
We have plenty of nests and three bird houses with families in them too.
Chickadees live here.
Tucker "helping" in the bird bath/Penny's outside water.
Pretty plants for Mama!
they saw Robins
Morning Doves, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Chickadees, Finches, sparrows, an Oriole (we have a feeder out this year) Red Winged Blackbirds, and hummingbirds. No eagles yesterday and I am not quick enough to get pictures of them all, the hummingbird was super blurry, maybe through the summer. I think my Grandma hobby of birdwatching has rubbed off! If you sit quietly in the back and listen to all the birds it is so nice and you eventually start getting buzzed with flyby birds, I love it!
I love watching the birds. We don't have any feeders and I think I might get one this summer. Miss your beautiful family, Missy! Thanks for blogging!!
