Homeschool Chore Day at Living History Farms

Last week we went on another field trip to Living History Farms for chore day.
laundry.....
candy and coonskin caps.....
spelling bee....
sometimes with a little help from her cousin!
The boys in class, they also got in trouble for wrestling in the back and having candy in the schoolhouse.  I'm pretty sure they would have been switched in 1865.
Jude with the map,  he always had a plan.
Dipping candles.
A horse named Judah!  Thanks for going with us Gurwells!

  1. My brother used to wear a hat just like the boy's hats. :) We went to Old World Wisconsin when I was taught at home. It looks like similar experiences. It's great for kids to see what life was like with no TVs and computers.
